John Donaghy (JD) is the Founder of Servant Leader Investors. He has over 19 years of experience in the financial planning industry and specializes in working with successful professionals, business owners, folks who need professional guidance for their hard earned assets, and those fortunate enough to be in the retirement phase of their life.
JD started his career as a senior portfolio analyst consulting for an Alex Brown advisor with over $1 billion of assets under management. Since this time, he has acted in a financial planning capacity for clients under his management. Over the years he has managed his own clients, and those of a highly successful planner with Lincoln National, with assets in excess of $200 million.
Currently, JD is the founder of a successful finanical planning firm, Servant Leader Investors. Due to the changes in his life during the Covid pandemic, JD was influenced to start a financial planning firm that is more in line with his beliefs, his desire to be a faithful servant and a financial planning coach for his clients. It is important that the firm chooses to look at the true needs of each and every client with their absolute best interest at heart, without regard for any fees and commissions associated with products. He believes that our financial success can be controlled by adjustments we can make from within ourselves.
JD considers himself as a servant to his clients and the world around him. So often, we are called to live a different life and fail to act on what is in our hearts. Servant Leader Investors is a calling that has been answered. His goal is to provide the resources, financial panning, and leadership that will help his clients be successful with their financial goals, and help change their perspective on the world, so that we can all be better servants to the world around us. Being a servant for others is its own reward.
JD has an amazingly loving and supportive wife, Duka, who is his best friend. They have a son, Ben who is a true gentleman, an outstanding engineering student; an absolute rock star. JD humbly knows that he would not be who he is today without the love and support of his wife, son, and the clients that he serves.
